FRENCH MONTANA Donates SHS350M To Health Centre In Iganga – American rapper French Montana has donated $100,000 (about Shs350 million) to Suubi Health Centre, a health facility located in Lubanda village, Iganga district.
The funds were received by Mama Hope, an organization which supports entrepreneurship worldwide to help uplift kids from tough backgrounds.
The American rapper, who recently did a song #Unforgettable featuring the Triple Ghetto Kids learnt about Mama Hope through a mutual friend, which compelled him to visit the women and children at the health centre.
When Billboard, an American website, interviewed him about his visit, he had this to say:
“It touched my heart when I went out there. I wanted to give them the shirt off my back and help as soon as possible.”
He went on to say:
“I feel like sometimes God puts you on a platform where you’re supposed to help other people.”
The Hip-hop star has also put up a social media dance challenge dubbed #UnforgettableDanceChallenge, where he is asking his fans to help make a difference and support by donating to the Mama Hope Non-Profit Organization.
